RIMMEL 60 SECONDS RITA ORA NAIL POLISH IN ORAGASM.

This was such a random buy because I'm never normally a fan of orange, it reminds me of halloween, but this nail polish looked so bright and fun that I couldn't resist purchasing it.

The brush is a bit meh, it's a little too fat and it doesn't distribute the polish evenly. The consistency of the polish is lovely through, it leaves a shiny finish with perfect colour. I always do two coats of nail polish but this colour is opaque enough to use one coat if you're in a rush!

THE SAEM GEM MIRACLE BLACK PEARL O2 CC CREAM.

I've never heard of The Saem until I went to South Korea and I was instantly drawn to their shop, most probably because G-Dragon was promoting some of their products. I saw this Black Pearl CC cream and being disappointed with the others that I'd seen I wasn't expecting too much. However, my sister and I tried the tester in store and I have to admit I was pretty amazed.

The packaging looks very elegant and expensive, almost like a high end product and probably aimed towards more mature women. However, I have to disagree that this product is for older women but is actually suitable for all age ranges. This CC cream serves a multitude of purposes including moisturising, whitening, anti-wrinkle, radiance, nutrition, illumination, tone correction, texture correction and SPF.

To use the cream you push the white area and the product comes out through the centre. This is such a practical way to dispense the cream especially when you are using a sponge application.

I would say that this CC cream offers medium coverage because I can still see some of my imperfections under the cream. If you want a better coverage then BB creams are for you. You only need a moderate amount of product to cover the entire face and then pat lightly for absorption.

This cream is pink/white, which is completely different to BB creams, and has colour changing beads in it to adapt to your skin tone. As it's name suggests, it is colour correcting meaning the cream blends to your skin colour to enhance an even tone. Unlike a BB cream, CC cream has a semi-matte finish that illuminates and highlights the skin's tones. Due to its formula it takes a lot longer to blend in and I also used my beauty blender to gently pat the product in.

I have used this product numerous times and I have had no breakouts or complications. Creams work differently for different people so that shouldn't deter you from trying it. I highly recommend giving this CC cream a chance, you can always get plenty of testers if you ask in store!

BARRY M GELLY HI-SHINE NAIL PAINT IN GUAVA.

I adore Barry M's nail varnishes because they always have such an extensive range of colours and effects. As soon as I saw this Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint in Guava, I knew I had to purchase it. It's a colour that is like no other in my collection.

This polish is ultra glossy and super shiny just like it was replicating a professional gel manicure. Despite it's flawless shine and high pigmentation, this nail polish isn't very long wearing. It says that it doesn't need a top coat to achieve the shine but I think top coat is needed to maintain durability. Unfortunately, the day after I painted my nails I was sad to see a small chip on my thumb.

Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint in Guava 15 £3.99. Available to purchase here from Superdrug.

MY NIGHT TIME BEAUTY REGIME.

After a hard day's work you want to be hitting the sheets not faffing around. I'm especially not one to spend hours at the dressing table reversing the morning's work but it is essential to make sure that you effectively prep and prime your skin for bedtime.

Perfectil Triple Active Original Skin, Hair and Nails 30 Tablets.
Ok, I don't really take these tablets before bedtime but after dinner with cold water. I think this is an essential part of my routine that I want to share with you because I believe that beauty starts from within and that means what you put in your inner body affects your outer body. That's not to say that I don't eat junk food (I'm a sucker for chocolate) but it's all about finding an equilibrium. These tablets definitely do not substitute fruit and vegetables but can help enhance the nutrients to supplement skin, hair and nails.

Shu Uemura Brightening Cleansing Oil Advanced Formula.
You have to clean off the day thoroughly to allow your skin to breathe while you sleep. This means using an effective make up remover, for me that's Shu Uemura Brightening Cleansing Oil. It really cleanses deep down to remove all the make up and pollution left over from the day. I love how powerful this oil is that it even removes all traces of waterproof eyeliner and mascara.
p.s. Sometimes I cheat and use Garnier's Micellar Water instead of Shu Uemura's Oil.

Too Cool For School O2 Bubble Cleansing Pack.
Once I have removed all traces of my make up I like to use a cleanser to clean the pores and if there are any trace of make up leftover then this should do the trick in removing it.

L'Oreal Skin Perfection Advanced Correcting Serum.
I have been raving non stop about how this serum has really changed my skin! I use it both day and night to penetrate through the skin's layers to improve skin's complexion. This is definitely one of my current favourites!

Beautymate Shining and Moisturising Sleeping Pack.
I'm very quickly running out of this sleeping pack because i've been slathering it onto my skin. The serum can be quite drying and this sleeping pack counteracts it by hydrating and moisturising my skin. It's water like formula is really soothing, especially on a hot day. In the UK it's quite hard to get your hands on a sleeping pack but I think that a night moisturiser is just as effective. It's important to not use your daily moisturiser at night because a night moisturiser's formula is thicker and richer meaning that it helps to seal in moisturiser and repair the skin's defences.

Origins Super Spot Remover.
Lately I've been having one spot crop up after another. It's been a nightmare and I can't say that the stress has been helping the situation. I would dab this Origins Super Spot Remover lightly over the spot and I find that it has visibly reduced by morning. It's quite pricey for this tiny bottle but it's really worth the money.

Pearl Drops Beauty Sleep Overnight Serum.
I haven't used this product enough times to fully review this but I have made a point of applying a pea-sized amount after brushing my teeth and gums. It says on the packaging that it's safe enough for everyday use but I have been using it every other night because I don't wait to make my teeth too sensitive. It doesn't leave a strong taste which is great because I do find myself swallowing quite a bit of it. This serum is said to whiten teeth and nourish the gums.

Lanolips 101 Ointment.
I lather this all over my lips before bed, they look extra shiny and greasy but it's not like anyone will see me haha. They help to replenish moisture into my lips overnight leaving them soft and supple by morning.

& Other Stories Hand Cream Lemon Daydream.
I love to apply a generous amount of hand cream before I sleep because I don't do it enough throughout the day so by the time I wake up my hands are super soft and fully hydrated.
Read my full review of & Other Stories Hand Cream Lemon Daydream here.

My final step is to sleep tight, beauty sleep isn't a myth! Sleep helps the body to decrease its stress levels and the skin renews itself thus creating new skin cells to replace the old ones. Sweet dreams!

ETUDE HOUSE PRECIOUS MINERAL BB CREAM BRIGHT FIT IN HONEY BEIGE.

I've tried a range of BB creams produced for a Western audience but I find that they are completely different and don't even compare to their Asian counterparts. One of the biggest beauty brands originating from South Korea, Etude House, has the perfect BB cream for those days where you don't need to go through all that effort to look flawless. Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream Bright Fit has been my saviour my more relaxed days.

before
after

I think you can tell that this colour is one shade too dark for my skin tone. I bought this in Honey Beige W24 and at the time it was the perfect fit but now I think I need one shade lighter. Even though this is slightly too dark it's easy to blend for a more radiant complexion. I remember when BB cream first came out and there were hardly any colour options. This BB cream comes in 4 hues so you can easily find the right shade to match your skin tone.

Etude House's BB cream has the perfect coverage to conceal imperfections and blemishes. The only downside for me is that I find that it can be a little over drying around the side of the nose. This means that you can actually see my pores a lot more visibly around the area. Despite this the BB cream works well on the rest of my face with long lasting coverage. I feel that this BB cream creates a much more dewy complexion rather that a matte one. For someone who has an oily/combination complexion I wouldn't recommend this BB cream. I also have oily/combination skin but I keep it under control with a mattifying loose powder base followed by regular blotting throughout the day. This can be a lot of maintenance for someone who isn't accustomed to this but I regularly use blotting paper anyway so it's not really a hassle for me.

I love how the product is in a tube with a pump nozzle. I find the pump really handy because it doesn't create a mess and you can easily control how much of the BB cream comes out.

Unfortunately, I purchased this while I was in Korea and as far as I am aware you can't purchase Etude House products in the UK except from online. If you are curious about Etude House or any other Asian cosmetics brands then try YesStyle, Sasa or Beauty Carousel (nb. shipping costs can be extortionate!).

Hope you enjoyed the review! Let me know what your favourite BB cream is in the comment box below! It may just be in one of my future reviews.
