MANICURE CLAW: Mavala Black Diamond and Onyx

*Sorry I don't think the colours are very visible in my pictures because they're both so dark!*

I purchased these two beautiful Mavala nail varnishes from John Lewis, they're £4.50 each. I bought two shades, one is the Black Diamond which is a black nail colour with loads of specks of glitter in it. The other is Onyx which is an intense shade of purple/red almost like oxblood but darker (if anyone can help me describe this shade I would be very grateful ^^). I'm a huge fan of Mavala products because I'm never disappointed. They're value for money even though they are a lot smaller than you would expect. That's because Mavala are clever and know that nail varnishes work best when it's not gloopy which tends to happen over time, especially when you have a large bottle to go through. The consistency of the varnish is very fluid and light making it easier to glide over your nails, without the mess that cheaper nail varnishes can have. It takes two coats to get the same shade as the bottle with perfect coverage. I also applied Rimmel London 5 in 1 Base and Top Coat £4.49. Actually when you think about it Mavala looks expensive compared to Rimmel but think of your OPI varnishes it's actually very good value.

I would recommend Mavala products any time. I'm an avid collector of the little bottles. What are your favourite shades? Would be very grateful if you could recommend some shades for my next Mavala purchases (: Thanks!
