REVIEW: Stila Stay All Day 10-in-1 HD BB.

Stilla Stay All Day 10-in-1 HD Beauty Balm £26.00

This is a review of the Stila Stay All Day 10-in-1 HD Beauty Balm which you may have seen from my earlier post (Boots beauty haul). This is my first time trying Stila products but it definitely won't be my last. I was really impressed with the beautiful and simple packaging. As well as the aesthetic appeal, I think the idea of 10-in-1 benefits was a huge draw for me. As you read on I will mention whether I agree or disagree with the benefits mentioned. One point I do agree with is that you don't need a lot to cover the face and the amount I put on my hand is more than enough (see below).
For me when I first saw the colour it was slightly too dark for what I would prefer but as I put it onto my skin it blended to match my natural colour. I'm not a fan of being too pale but also not being tan, so I think the shade of this product did exactly that. It does say on the packaging that it's suitable for all skin tones but if you're looking for a lighter coloured BB cream I wouldn't recommend this one.

It's got a lovely texture which feels super smooth to put on and almost had a powdery finish. I do believe that this is one of the 10 benefits lol. Because of the powdery finish I think it really did control my excess oil unlike my usual foundation (Clinique Even Better).

It's super easy to blend into your skin and you barely notice where you've put it. It's got full coverage in that you can apply it all over the face but if you look closely at my photos you can see that it doesn't fully cover up some of the scars on my face (see the spot scar above my lip, and the imperfection above my eye). So normally I would have to apply concealer to cover up my scars. Asides from my scars it did a perfect job evening out my skin colour. The redness was covered up and my pores were also visibly reduced.

I actually really enjoy using this product and it has practically replaced my usual foundation because it is so effortless that you can glide it on and walk out the door.

  2. I think you're skin looks perfect! I have been using Maybelline BB cream for a while now but I'm not super impressed with the coverage, and it's got an oily finish - not cute. So maybe this one will be worth checking out!
