These items were bought a couple weeks back in Birmingham so this is actually a late post (sorry!) I'm basically on a budget and shouldn't even be spending at all but I managed to buy all the items about for £14. How do I do it you say? Well the truth is I didn't spend a dime at Boots but instead paid for it using my Card Advantage Card. Bye bye my savings for an electric toothbrush...
So I bought two boxes of L'Oreal Preference Wild Ombre hair dye, one for myself and one for my sister, in their offer of 2 for £11. I was going to buy it ages ago but I'm glad I didn't because of this offer, it's not much off but it helps. I already have ombre hair but I wanted to make it stand out more so that's why I purchased another box. It's in the same colour but you can definitely notice a difference. I've probably killed my hair but the great thing with only colouring the ends is I only need to cut the ends should I decide to.
The Blanx Intensive Stain Removal toothpaste was another item purchased on my Advantage Card. Seriously that card is a life saver! Anyway I was noticing that my teeth looked a bit yellow and it's not even that bad but I just wanted to make it brighter and whiter. I purchased this toothpaste based on reviews on the Boots website. I was torn between Colgate White but choose Blanx because it's something I haven't really come across and looks professional in a way that looks like it works. I have been using it morning and night everyday and have noticed a small difference. I don't think I have been using it enough to notice a huge difference but it's definitely doing its job.
Pocky Choco Banana flavour and seaweed animal biscuits are both from Birmingham's China Town. I was having a snack craving so that was more money out of my pocket. I thought the Pocky was so flavoursome, I really liked it because I really love the taste of artificial banana and I loved how the stick was chocolate flavour too. My older sister was really unimpressed when I made her try hahaha. On the other hand the seaweed crackers went down a treat. I think it may be because we've all tried it when we were little so it's a bit nostalgic.
The prize of my shopping is my new checkered Forever 21 shirt. I have wanted one for ages but couldn't seem to find any that I liked but when we went into Forever 21 they practically had a whole floor dedicated to them! There were a handful that really attracted me but I narrowed it down to this one because most of the ones I picked had spikes on the shoulder area and that wasn't quite what I was looking for. Now that I have this one I may have to go back and purchase another but one with spikes!
I literally had to stop myself from buying things that weren't on my list, with exception of the Pocky and biscuits! Why is it that when you have no money you want to buy everything but when you have money there is nothing! Altogether my purchases cost me just under £14, £12 for the shirt and £2 for the treats! This is such a save for me and I'm super happy with my items! My two snacks are now gone though...
